Former President of IANLP embraces Islam with the help of Dr. ‘Awaď Al-Qarnî

On Sunday 15th July 2007, corresponding to the beginning of Rajab 1428 hegira, [former] President of the International Association for Neuro-Linguistic Programming (IANLP) Dr. Wyatt Woodsmall embraced Islam with the help of the prominent Muslim preacher Dr. ‘Awaď Al-Qarnî.
Dr. ‘Awaď made a exclusive statement to Alummah Online in which he said that Dr. Wyatt had embraced Islam at Al-Fateĥ mosque in the Kingdom of Bahrain and that the official document which states he had embraced Islam was issued at the legal courts. He added that a German had phoned Dr. Wyatt when he found out that he had embraced Islam, expressing his fear over the doctor from the US government. [Dr. Wyatt] replied, saying, "I'm not bothered about anybody. They say they consider me to be a weirdo, and perhaps this is one of my weird decisions".
The dialog with Dr. Wyatt about Islam started two years ago and in the end he was guided by the will of Allah to make the big decision, embracing Islam, after thorough research.
It was also mentioned that Dr. Wyatt, who is now 64 years of age, used to mention Dr. ‘Awaď Al-Qarnî to his wife a lot. He told Dr. ‘Awaď after he had embraced Islam that he had phoned his wife to tell her the news and that she rejoiced and told him, "Do as Dr. ‘Awaď Al-Qarnî instructs you, but [don't obey him] if he tells you to marry a second wife!".
